| Description: |
Students and the public will have a chance to listen and meet Holocaust survivor, speaker and recently published author Eva Marx on two occasions this month. On Monday, February 13, the University of Ottawa's Vered Jewish Canadian Studies Program together with the Azrieli Foundation will host Marx’s guest lecture and discussion. The event, which is open to the public, will be a unique opportunity to discover the history of the Holocaust from the perspective of someone who experienced it.
Marx’s memoir, One of the Lucky Ones, is a remarkable first-hand account of a young Jewish girl swept up by fear and uncertainty during the horrors of World War II.
Those planning to attend the lecture should RSVP to Professor Rebecca Margolis: rmargoli@uOttawa.ca.
