Councillor Probert, Chair of the Roy Brown Museum will share his knowledge on Captain Arthur Roy Brown and the vision of the Roy Brown Musuem. Join us for a relaxing evening of Lanark County local family history and achievements in the relaxed atmosphere in a Carleton Place's historic log structure facility. The Roy Brown Museum is located in the Moore House Museum. The Moore House was originally built by the Moore family around 1850 as a home, and later was turned into a general store. The family was one of the first to settle in Carleton Place. Due to the museum environment of this meeting refreshments will be not served.
